for check capture at the first point of presentment. Equipped with a
Canon patented magnetic head, the CR-25 scanner reads MICR code line
data with high accuracy for reduced transaction errors. This powerful
check scanner supports E13B and CMC7 standards and include built-in OCR
software. Bundled IQA software ensures high-quality image capturing in
accordance with Check 21 standards. By verifying the check image
quality at the time of presentment, passing along unusable images and
costly processing delays can be avoided. To help satisfy a variety of
business applications, Canon's CR-25 device offers seven programmable
scanning modes in black and white, grayscale, or color, plus
resolutions of up to 300 dpi for optimum image reproduction. You can
easily capture valuable check data from difficult-to-scan items with
Adaptive Threshold Mode, which detects and removes excessive background
effects such as security pentagrams or watermarks. This image
processing technology - exclusive to Canon - provides superb clarity
and detail while minimizing file size.
