       ADVC1000 is the preeminent DV-SDI in/out solution for the broadcast 
        or professional post-production environment requiring a demanding 
        level of accuracy. ADVC1000 uses Canopus PerfectSync technology to 
        ensure perfect conversion of all frames. When the FireWire 
        interface outputs a DV stream, ADVC1000 becomes the "cycle master", 
        controlling the maximum transfer rate to flawlessly synchronize SDI 
        output with the frame frequency of an external reference ("house") 
        signal. ADVC1000 is quickly configurable with front-panel controls 
        and LCD display, offers analog video and unbalanced audio outputs 
        for monitor preview, and a solid half-1U rack mount design.
    Includes ADVC1000 converter box, AC adapter, User Manual, FireWire 
      cable (4-pin to 6-pin).
* Perfect Signal Synchronization: Canopus "PerfectSync"
   Canopus has realized perfect signal synchronization output with an 
   external reference signal (house sync) for Windows and Mac OS based 
   DV-to-SDI conversion. ADVC1000 features original technology to control 
   and synchronize the transfer rate of IEEE 1394 communication with an 
   external reference signal. This prevents skipped and duplicate frames 
   and produces perfect conversion of all frames during DV-to-SDI 
   conversion. (For NTSC video conversion using Windows 2000, PerfectSync 
   operation cannot be guaranteed due to a limitation of the operating 
   system).
* VTR Control by AV/C-RS422 Conversion
   ADVC1000 converts DV device control signals to RS422, to control an 
   external VTR. Such control makes it possible to take in data from 
   professional VTRs such as Digital Betacam from any standard DV editing 
   software that features DV device control.
* Professional Video System Input
   Reference input and LTC input/output can be utilized to create a 
   professional video editing system with editors or switchers.

* Four-channel Embedded Audio Support
   SDI supports up to four channels of embedded audio. It transfers 
   professional level video/audio signals and can connect to long distance 
   transmission systems. ADVC1000 has AES/EBU terminals to support multi-
   channel audio operation with a professional audio mixer.
* Advanced Usability
   ADVC1000 is quickly configurable. Front panel controls include a mode 
   switch and menu selection buttons with an LCD display for conversion 
   settings.
   ADVC1000 can operate as a stand-alone device not requiring a computer 
   while keeping any preprogrammed settings.
