       The HighPoint RocketRAID 1740 PCI SATA II RAID Controller offers the

       The RocketRAID 1740 is the latest product in storage technology, 
        leveraging the storage performance in SATA II and supporting the 
        fastest available throughput while supporting enterprise level 
        features such as Native Command Queuing (NCQ), staggered drive 
        spin-up and SAF-TE enclosure management support.
       The RocketRAID 1740 PCI SATA II RAID Controller delivers optimum 
        performance with speeds of up to 300MB/sec per port.
       The RocketRAID 1740 PCI SATA II RAID Controller is an integrated 
        family of advanced storage connectivity solutions. These products 
        are designed to provide reliable connectivity, intelligence and 
        scalability. Meeting tomorrow's connectivity needs today, the 
        RocketRAID 1740 PCI SATA II RAID Controlller extends the 
        capabilities of software and hardware, relieving them from their 
        data-management burdens.
       The RocketRAID 1740 PCI SATA II RAID Controller is backward 
        compatible to RAID arrays created with HighPoint SATA I RocketRAID 
        1640 controller. All RAID arrays created on the RocketRAID 1640 can 
        be moved over to the RocketRAID 1740 SATA II PCI RAID Controller 
        and RAID arrays can be expanded with the new features available in 
        the RocketRAID 1740 such as Online Capacity Expansion and Online 
        RAID Level Migration.
       HighPoint offers the broadest range of support for all major 
        operating systems to ensure OS and hardware server compatibility. 
        Drivers are available for all major operating systems, including 
        Windows, Linux and FreeBSD.
