   Up to 40 GB native storage capacity, or 104 GB compressed (2.6:1) in a 
   compact, 3.5", half-height form-factor -- store more information in 
   less space.

   Sustained data transfer rate of 6 MB/s native provides high performance 
   backups -- up to 21.6 GB/hour native.
* Compression 
   Adaptive Lossless Data Compression (ALDC) provides greater data 
   compression efficiency -- offers average compression of 2.6:1.
* Reduced Periodic Maintenance
   Super Head Cleaner provides an automated cleaning solution -- increases 
   head life and reduces the need for periodic cleaning.
* Reliability
   Helical scan recording writes the tape in one pass with a slow tape 
   speed and allows higher recording densities than linear recording --
   reduces wear-and-tear on the data cartridge and drive, increasing 
   reliability, head life, and storage capacity within a compact form-
   factor.
* Compact form factor 
   AIT drives offer high capacity in an extremely compact 3.5-inch form 
   factor. With a compact size a fraction of the size of other high 
   capacity tape drive formats, AIT drives are easy to integrate into 
   desktop workstations, servers, and automated tape libraries.
