       The Tandberg 420LTO offers extremely fast transfer rates (24MB/sec 
        native, 48MB/sec compressed) with high capacity of 200GB (native) 
        and 400GB (compressed) to minimize backup times. Its compact size
        (only 8.4 inches deep) provides simple and easy integration into 
        all servers and workstations.
       Offering the lowest power consumption (18W operating) among LTO tape 
        drives on the market, the Tandberg 420LTO has a unique airflow 
        design that eliminates the need for a noisy fan and minimizes heat
        dissipation throughout the drive for greater reliability and 
        increased MTBF.
* This External kit includes a data cartridge and Symantec Backup Exec QS, 
  external SCSI 68P HD to VHDCI cable, external terminator, power cord, 
  resource CD with all manuals and documentation.

   Fully compliant with the Ultrium LTO2 format, the drive protects a 
   companys investment by offering full read/write compatibility with LTO1 
   tape drives and media. A five-generation half-height LTO roadmap and 
   backward compatibility insures that your Tandberg LTO data protection 
   solution can scale to future data capacity requirements.
   The 420LTO is also available in the Tandberg StorageLoader, the  
   industrys first 1U LTO autoloader offering up to 3.2TB of automated 
   storage capacity.

   match host transfer speeds and a state of the art Ultra 320 SCSI

   Tandberg Datas patented "Smart Gripper" technology securely locks the 
   media leader pin to help insure positive tape loading-the cartridge

   The drive also includes an embedded media management feature for 
   intelligent diagnostics, tape alerts and an automatic head cleaning 
   brush for advanced preventive maintenance and reduced down times.
