       The CFSC 5M is a Mid-Range scanning solution combining CompactFlash

        The CFSC 5M features fuzzy logic scanning technology for reading

       The CFSC 5M will turn your Pocket PC into an advanced mobile bar 
        code scanner. Socket's bar code scanning brings a new level of 
        convenience and portability to mobile data collection by combining 
        Sockets Mobility Friendly CompactFlash technology with a 
        revolutionary laser scanner from Symbol Technologies. Just plug the 
        card into your Windows Powered Pocket PC, launch Sockets 
        SocketScan keyboard emulation software, and read bar code data into 
        any Windows program. Fuzzy logic technology enables the reading of 
        damaged or poorly printed bar codes. 
       Bar code scanning is the most efficient way to enter data into a 
        computer. If the data to be entered is bar coded, using a laser 
        scanner is 50 times faster and 10,000 times more accurate than 
        manual data entry. And it only takes one hand!
* Integrated Type II CF card and scanner plugs into the Type II 
  CompactFlash slot of Windows Powered Pocket PCs. Combine with CF-to-PC 
  card adapter (Part #4001-515, sold separately) to use in pen tablets or 
  laptops.
* Uses an advanced SE-824 Class 1 laser scanner engine from Symbol 
  Technologies. This is the smallest laser scan engine available today. 
* Automatically decodes the most popular bar code symbologies including 
  UPC/EAN, Code 39, Code 128, MSI, RSS-14 and Codabar. Other symbologies 
  can be enabled by user with SocketScan Symbology selector. 
* Fuzzy logic enables the ability to read damaged or poorly printed 
  barcodes.

* Sockets SocketScan software for Windows converts scanned bar code 
  characters into virtual keystrokes so that any Windows application treats

* SocketScan enables the creation of prefixes and suffixes, such as Tab or 
  Carriage Return, to further eliminate key strokes in the data collection 
  process. 
* This Battery Friendly solution draws only a few milliamps of current in
