The locking design of the matte black connector shell grips the RCA jack tightly. This ensures greater signal transfer and adds stability to the ground contacts by limiting their ability to spread. The SplitLok™ connector maintains contact over the entire length of the center pin. A Teflon™ dielectric around the center pin resists heat that may cause the center pin to sag during assembly. A screw terminal holds the cable securely after folding the braid back over the jacket.
