       NAStape is a networked tape drive that uses inexpensive Gigabit 
        Ethernet to connect to the host(s). Ethernet simplifies host 
        connection and allows sharing of the tape drive over the LAN. 
        Configured with one drive and R45 1000BaseT port, NAStape is 
        available in AIT, LTO, SDLT and SAIT models.
       Simply plug the NAStape into your existing Ethernet network, and 
        you have got instant network access to the shared device. Sharing
        a single device across the network saves signifi cant host-based
        resources.
       Because NAStape uses inexpensive and widely implemented Gigabit 
        Ethernet technology, your NAStape can easily keep up with your 
        backups.
       NAStape also supports iSCSI, an affordable technology that supports
        both network-attached storage (NAS) and storage area networks 
        (SANs). NAStape works easily and well for organizations that 
        currently use -- or that are looking to upgrade to -- NAS or SAN 
        topologies.
