The VT510 is a low-cost, single-session terminal for the open enterprise, yet it enjoys all the advantages of the traditional VT family. The VT510 is compatible with more than 30 operating systems, including OpenVMS, MUMPS, UNIX, PICK and Multiuser DOS. It also emulates 17 popular text terminals, including Digital, Wyse, TeleVideo and ADDS.

The VT510 also features downloadable macros, off-screen memory, horizontal and vertical scrolling and rectangular area operations. The VT510 provides support for 25 languages and a choice of five setup languages. Every key is programmable to eight levels via the local define key editor, with contents storable in non-volatile RAM.
