Product Description: The Megabit Modem 320F (MM320F-3) uses ADSL technology to provide a multi-megabit connection using a single-pair telephone line. It is designed to be used with a Megabit Modem 310F, one at each end of a circuit, with the MM320F-3 functioning as the ATU-R. The MM320F-3 uses DMT line coding. In addition, ADSL technology allows POTS to coexist with the high-speed data service on the same wire pair. The MM320F-3 supports the full DMT rate of 64 to 7040kbps downstream and 64 to 928kbps upstream. It can be used in either rate adaptive mode, in which the modem speed automatically adjusts to the maximum attainable data rate depending on distance and line condition, or you can select a fixed rate.
