Product Description: The Exabyte data cartridge magazine was designed specifically to store and protect Exabyte tapes. A clear plastic cover protects the tapes from contaminants and allows viewing of cartridge labels. With the cover in place, the magazines can be stacked on top of each other so that you can make the most efficient use of your storage space. Most importantly, the magazines snap directly into the library and hold tapes in the position required for access by the robotic arm. Because the tapes are already in their storage container, they can be moved directly from the library to storage without handling. This Exabyte magazine can incorporate either the 225m AME media for Mammoth-2 based X80/X200 libraries or 170m AME media for Mammoth-1 based X80/X200 libraries. Exabyte media is recommended for use in all Exabyte hardware.
