The Digi ClassicBoard family provides an array of ISA-based cost-effective options to help you easily satisfy a multitude of user needs. The four- and eight-port EIA-232 models are offered with a choice of DB25 or RJ45 connectors. The 16-port models include an RJ45 connector box. Each EIA-232 model is available with 16654 UART delivering optimum performance up to 460.8 Kbps. All models are surge protected for superior dependability in the field. All models are remarkably easy to install. They are Windows 95 Plug-and-Play compatible and are software-configurable in non plug-and-play environments by using Digi's exclusive software configuration utility. Once installed, all Digi ClassicBoards support three modes of operation for backward compatibility with past and current non-intelligent serial solutions from Digi, Arnet and Star Gate Technologies.
