The PCI-1610 is a 4 port RS-232/422/485 PCI communication card. It is
compatible with PCI 2.1 bus specification. The PCI-1610 provides four
optional surge protections for RS-232 (PCI-1610), RS-232/422/485 ports
(PCI-1612) to meet user’s needs. It features lots of functions such as
high transmission speed 921.6 Kbps, four independent RS-232/422/485
ports, optional surge protection etc. PCI-1610 also includes
high-performance 16PCI954 UART with 128-byte FIFO to reduce CPU load.
These components make the system more stable and reliable. Thus, the
PCI-1610 is especially suitable for multitasking environments.
