This cable allows the Chat 50 to be used with most models of cell
phones and some PDAs. The two ends are 2.5mm and 3.5mm. The 2.5mm plug
goes into the same port in the cell phone that the ear bud connects to,
and the 3.5mm end plugs into the Chat 50. Most Motorola, Nokia, LG,
Samsung, Audiovox, and Sanyo cell phones feature the 2.5mm port. The
Chat 50 can be powered via the USB cable connected to a PC, or via the
power adapter when used with a cell phone. Simply plug it in, dial the
phone, and talk.
This cable can also be used to connect the Chat 50 to telephones that
have 2.5mm headset jacks.
This
cable is included as a standard item in the Chat 50 USB Plus, Chat 50
USB Plus International, and USB Global Traveler, so would only be
ordered as an add-on to the Chat 50 USB, or as a replacement.
